My career in design has been a path of continuous growth and discovery (read more about my journey to UX here) in which I have explored multiple industries; from adventure travel, outdoor education to the US Federal Government. I am currently working as Acting Lead UX Designer at Capital Technology Group on their BDSO Contract with USCIS, responsible for 4+ talented UX Analysts/Designers.
I am currently working on developing BDSO's processes for tackling problems and establishing User Research best practices, gathering requirements with stakeholders, working with our developers to open up lines of communication and setting our designers up for success within the BDSO program.
Based in Western Colorado, I spend most of my free time climbing rocks, working with various non-profits, playing board games and snuggling up with my partner and listening to various social justice, True Crime and UX podcasts.
